February is here, and I can’t decide what’s more exciting: Mardi Gras season or crawfish season heating up across Louisiana. Everywhere I look, businesses are decorating, bands are practicing, and the calendar is filling up. After a Christmas spent with family, January flew by, and our team is ready for what’s next.
Soon, the streets will fill with music, parades, and tradition. If you’re heading out, remember that crowded routes and distracted drivers come with Carnival, so plan ahead and stay safe. Take breaks, watch for pedestrians, and don’t let one night of fun become a lifetime problem.
This year is a first for me: I’ll be riding in my first Legion of Mars parade in New Orleans, a krewe created to honor our military and first responders. I’m also hoping to catch throws from my wife, Amy, on her Artemis float in Baton Rouge.
Between parades, I’m on a mission to try king cakes from as many Louisiana bakeries as possible. If you have a favorite spot, reply and tell me.
Most importantly, we’re focused on results; helping injured clients hold negligent people accountable and win multi-million dollar settlements that provide peace of mind for the future.
